Removal of Minor Skin Irregularities

The LamProbe is a cutting edge tool used to safely and effectively remove blemishes, lesions, growths, and skin irregularities.  Using a combination of radio and high frequency currents, the LamProbe can be used to treat milia, skin tags, cholesterol deposits, cherry angiomas, and benign moles.  Without breaking the surface of the skin, the LamProbe can quickly fade, diminish, or dry up the unsightly areas on the face and body.

The LamProbe is based on the scientific principle that liquids are attracted to heat.  Using a high frequency radio wave current, heat is conducted into a targeted mass of cells, vaporizing their moisture.  This will kill the cells of the skin growth, which will then quickly slough off and disappear.  The LamProbe is equipped with multiple frequency probes, making treatments easily tailored for each individual patient.  The pinpoint-size tip of the probe ensures a precise delivery of energy.

Telangietasia

Large areas of redness particularly on the cheeks, nose, chin, and sometimes forehead typically stem from broken capillaries. A broken capillary is also known as a “dead capillary” and are often caused by several factors such as damage, injury, or trauma to the skin, genetic or inherited factors, over exposure to outside elements, and overstimulation of blood flow internally caused by various factors.

Prominent broken capillaries can be treated with a radio high frequency device, known as the LamProbe. This process uses heat from a small probe at the surface of the skin to redirect blood flow to other healthy capillaries. This, in turn, reduces the appearance of the red, broken capillary. Treatments vary per individual and are recommended every 6-8 weeks and may take up to three or more visits for the broken capillary to fade, subside, or diminish to your satisfaction.

$60 per One-Half an Hour (min. one-half an hour)

A treatment with the LamProbe does not require any anesthesia or numbing agents.  Your esthetician will begin by placing a small, hand-held probe directly over a predetermined area, to deliver the quick pulse of energy.  The process takes from between three and five seconds per treatment spot; patients are normally out of the office in less than 30 minutes.  Depending on the area being treated, a repeat LamProbe session may be required.  The LamProbe can be combined with complimentary aesthetic procedures for optimal results.

Patients should expect the recovery period after a LamProbe treatment to take from two to five days.  Minor redness may occur at the treatment site, but this will quickly diminish as the blemish fades.  No downtime required after a LamProbe procedure; patients are able to immediately return to work or school, without restrictions.

Skin Tags

A skin tag is a small fibroma that can appear in either a single or multiple formation and are sometimes referred to as achrochordon. They can be found all over the face and body and are most often on the neck, breasts, axillae (armpit) and sometime even appearing on the eyelid. They can become inflamed if they are repeatedly irritated when tissues are rubbed together in friction e.g. wearing chains on neck or in the skin folds of the obese. After the age of 30 they can proliferate in which some individuals can have as much as 200 or more skin tags on the breast or neck.
